Privacy Policy

Forge ("Forge", "we", "us", or "our") builds a brotherhood and accountability app that helps Christian men keep their daily disciplines together. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Forge app (the "Service"), you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to run the Service.

Account informationEmail address and display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and the email you choose to share (Apple may provide a private relay email).
Profile & preferencesThe disciplines you track, your daily reminder time, language preference, and the groups you belong to.
Activity you createYour daily check-ins (which disciplines you kept), optional notes to your group, reactions/encouragements you send, and your streaks.
Group informationGroup names, invite codes, and membership for the brotherhoods you create or join.
Device & notificationsA push-notification token and basic device information so we can deliver your reminders and nudges.
Usage analyticsPseudonymous app-usage events (for example, screens viewed and features used) to understand how Forge is used and improve it.
Subscription statusWhether you have an active Forge Pro subscription or trial. We never receive or store your payment card details. Payments are handled by Apple.

3. How Your Information Is Shared

With your brotherhood. Forge is a group accountability app. The disciplines you check in, your streaks, your notes, and your reactions are visible to the other members of the groups you join. Only share what you're comfortable with your group seeing.

With service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract:

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time from within the app (Profile → Settings) or by emailing us at support@jarnaljitsingh.com. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems; some content you shared into a group may remain visible to that group in de-identified form, and we may retain limited records as required by law.

Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS, and access to your data is protected by per-user database security rules. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.

6. Children's Privacy

Forge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Forge is operated from, and stores data in, the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app.
