Terms of Service

Welcome to Forge. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Forge ("Forge", "we", "us") governing your use of the Forge mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Who Can Use Forge

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Forge. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. The Service

Forge helps men track daily disciplines, build streaks, join private accountability groups ("brotherhoods"), encourage one another, and receive a daily devotional. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Community Conduct & User Content

Forge is built on encouragement and brotherhood. When you post notes, reactions, group names, or other content ("User Content"), you agree to the following, and you understand that we have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior:

Do not post content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
Do not impersonate others, spam, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
You retain ownership of your User Content, and you grant us a limited license to host and display it within the Service so your groups can see it.
You are solely responsible for the content you post and must have the right to post it.

Reporting and blocking. If you encounter objectionable content or an abusive member, you can report the content or block the user, and you may contact us at support@jarnaljitsingh.com. We review reports and may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, typically within 24 hours of a report.

5. Forge Pro Subscriptions

Forge is free to use. Optional Forge Pro unlocks larger brotherhoods, your full check-in history, custom disciplines, and the full content library.

Free trial: Forge Pro starts with a 7-day free trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and automatically renew (monthly, unless otherwise stated) unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Managing & cancelling: Manage or cancel anytime in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Payment: Charges are made to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
Refunds: Purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.

If you cancel, you keep access to Forge's free features. Pro simply unlocks more.

6. Spiritual Content: Not Professional Advice

Forge provides devotional and Scripture content for encouragement and personal growth. It is not professional, medical, psychological, legal, or counseling advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or need help, please contact a qualified provider or your local emergency services.

7. Intellectual Property

The Forge app, its name, logo, design, and content (excluding your User Content) are owned by Forge and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

8. Acceptable Use

Don't misuse the Service: no reverse engineering, scraping, interfering with the Service's operation, attempting to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or using the Service to violate any law or third-party right.

9. Termination

You may stop using Forge and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and provide notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where local consumer-protection laws require otherwise. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Service.
